Noticing Spring - the tree and me

created by Leigh Anne Eck

It's Poetry Month, a pleasure to read so many wonderful poems and challenges throughout the poetry blogger world. My goal is to work hard to write haiku and haiku-related poetry every day this month. I am finding I'm more aware of the details surrounding every day.

Some of us are sharing on twitter with the hashtag #DigiPoetry, created by Margaret Simon, of Reflections on The Teche. You're welcome to join us. Find the many Poetry Month offerings rounded up by Jama Rattigan at Jama's Alphabet Soup.

  1. I love that you're finding that your writing is making you more aware. I also love the phrase "that old tree and me." I feel connected to the trees too.

  3. How companionable these two are, "that old tree and me." Both have seen a lot, been through a lot. Still going!
