April is #NPM18 - National Poetry Month.

"Poetry is a deal of joy and pain and wonder, with a dash of the dictionary."

  1. Excellent assonance in "sneaking" and "peek" and "new." Your image is really appropriate to your poem.

    1. Thanks, I nearly wrote an explanation. I'm not sure if the wasp was eating, maybe gathering moisture? It was traveling up & down, up & down those leaves, didn't mind me getting close at all!

  2. I am assuming you took this photograph. I love the detail in the wasp and how your poem and it fill the spaces in each other.

    1. Thanks, Cheriee, I guess I should add my name with the photo. Yes, I took the pic, was watching closing because I saw some movement & it was this wasp, traveling as I described above.
