Kindness Creates More Kindness

Celebrating with Ruth Ayres and others today. Come visit to see how lovely it is to celebrate all the delights of the week!

As I wrote last week, I'm taking the next week or more off to travel to my brother and sister-in-law's home in mid-Missouri, to view the eclipse! I am excited. My daughter and the granddaughters, perhaps my son, will join us and we are preparing for an amazing experience! I hope some of you will be able to view it where you are!
My brother owns an antique store in the town where we'll be and he has been preparing for the girls to help him with a lemonade/snack stand so they can help him. They have been so excited about this that their papa built them a stand for here in Denver so they could practice. Then, their mama helped with ingredients and decorations. I'm celebrating my brother whose kindness started the girls, then their parents, thinking of how to make this a wonderful experience even before we leave on our trip. Here are pictures from this morning.  Kindness is contagious!

  2. Linda, I love this entrepreneurial venture so much. It brings back feelings of when I was the kid selling the lemonade with friends and my sister. The girls must be thrilled to have a real lemonade stand. That photo captures the joy of sunkissed summer days. What do you think if I posted it at my gallery?

    1. I don't know if I ever had a lemonade stand, Carol, but I remember helping cousins with a performance and selling tickets for that one summer. Yes you may used the pic. I'm glad to share and hope it gave you a smile for today!

  5. I went to an eclipse presentation at our local planetarium. It had me almost trying to figure out how to get to MO. I think I will wait until the 2024 eclipse when it will be in Ohio which is close to my mother's house. That might make more sense for me. Have a grand time and keep all of those eyes safe. Keep spreading that kindness.

    1. Thanks for telling me Crystal. I'm leaving tomorrow to have a few days with my family before everyone else gets to come, hope that there are other shows at my planetarium later. We do have the glasses, and have downloaded apps from the Exploritorium & Smithsonian! Exciting!
