Never Stop Finding Celebrations!

Celebrating with Ruth Ayres at Discover Play Build.  and linking with others who share their celebrations, too. I am grateful to Ruth for helping us celebrate together!

Many are finding comfort this week in words, poetry and prose, words from long ago and today. I changed my FB pic this week to another beautiful sky pic (can't stop taking them) and this quote: Hang onto your hatHang on to your hope. And wind the clock, for tomorrow is another day.” ~ E.B. White.  It was a hard week NOT filled with big celebrations, at least for me, but I will continue to be grateful for the small ones, and will never give up fighting for mutual respect and kindness among all those who live here on our earth.

There is joy in my granddaughters, and joy in what I see every day in nature.

In the gift shop at the exhibit for Extreme Mammals.

The beauty of sunsets from the museum's view.

Thursday, Ingrid and I shopped for her mother's
birthday,
which is today!

the final crabapple, hanging on-a lesson for our lives?

Nature is my gift to myself. Life pulls me down and I walk outside and breathe deeply. I am thankful always for your photos and the glimmer into your celebrations.

Absolutely. Walking out into the world helps me a lot, and when it's with the girls, even better! Thanks, Elsie.

Thank you Maria, for your words and for loving the out of doors as I do. It is indeed a blessing for us!

You said no big celebrations. The small celebrations add up to a lot. I look forward to the pics with your granddaughters. They always carry such positive emotions. The polar bear hug is my favorite this time.

Enjoy your time with family celebrating Sarah's birthday. I love your pics of the out of doors, the ones with Imi, and especially that final crabapple, hanging on.

Your pictures are always so beautiful. I just love that you stop to take time to notice those little things that are always around us, Linda. It's those little things that make a life full.

Thanks, Jennifer. Walking out in the middle of nature makes me feel good every time! I'm glad you enjoy them, too!

I went looking for solace in nature, too. I wish I had cute grandgirls to hug, too. Love that bear hug!

Linda B said...

Thanks, Mandy. What a hard week it has been. I will continue to find some good things, and fight against that which I believe is wrong.

Linda B said...

Someday I'm sure you'll have them, Margaret. Isn't that bear the greatest!

“Hang onto your hat. Hang on to your hope. And wind the clock, for tomorrow is another day.” ~ E.B. White Yes, I am in hope mode, Linda. This afternoon, I had a gathering of friends because we have to capture the good times. No politics were allowed at the event-just good will among friends. I LOVE your crabapple photo and statement. I captured it for the gallery as one of the closing pieces.
