Mary Lee Hahn's haiku challenge (#haikuforhealing) helped me through December. Today, I am grateful for Jone MacCulloch's challenge to send Poetry Postcards (#PostcardXExchange) that carried light to my life in January. I was blessed with wonderful ones. Each postcard gave a life, a smile, and knowing that someone was sending good wishes. Here's a picture of all that came before, and the final one from Jone. I'm typed everyone's poems after the pics. Thank you, poets all.

I have so enjoyed seeing all the poetry postcards being shared. It's almost as much fun as receiving one in the mail.
What a bounty of poetry! I agree that those poems....the writing of them...the sending and the receiving saved my sanity and faith in humanity! Love seeing the text of them all.

I enjoyed reading these today.
It was so much fun writing and sending these AND THEN to have this bouquet of cards! It was such a treat! I'm doing a card each day this month for the Peace Postcards now.

I too was hit by Jone's. The words and the picture. I miss the haiku. Sharing your postcards is wonderful. What a lovely thing to find in the mailbox.
I'm glad my playful penguin made you smile. I enjoyed writing a poem for my daughter's art. She wants to be an artist when she grows up, and I want her to not lose that dream too young, as so many kids do.
