Defining Life-9 of 31

The March Slice of Life Challenge-hosted by Ruth and Stacey, at Two Writing Teachers - #9 of 31

According to the Merriam-Webster online Dictionary:

the word "anticipation" means the visualization of a future event or state

the word "visualization" means formation of mental visual images
an "image" is a reproduction or imitation of the form of a person or thing
a "person" or "persons" can be thought of as the personality of a human being
the "persons" of my family are driving in tonight for spring break
they will be missing the "snowstorm" which is arriving tomorrow
"snowstorm" is defined as a storm of or with snow
one of those "persons" arriving is my grandson
"grandson" is defined as the son of a son or daughter

Never underestimate the power of the feelings of anticipation.  They have fueled me all the week long.  Nearly here!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
And by the time you read this, the anticipation will be over, and the real fun will have begun!

    2. Are they there yet? Dan says we will have to plan some road trips so I have something to write about.

    3. Yes, finally here, now all are off to bed! Funny about the road trips. Have you read Gary Paulsen's book, Road Trip. I haven't gotten to it yet, but it's supposed to be really good.

  12. Your post nearly made me cry! I rode the same anticipation all week, knowing that Friday night, I would be with my family after a 3-hour drive home on the heels of Parent-Teacher conferences. And then, I got the flu. So now I am sitting on my couch alone. I hope that your family made it safe and sound and your spring break is off to a blessed start together!!
