Thursday - Weather Change

For this wonderful month of April, Poetry month, I've made the goal to write haiku and haiku-related poems. It's been rewarding to write something new every day.
I'm also happy that some of us are sharing on twitter with the hashtag #DigiPoetry, created by Margaret Simon, of Reflections on The Teche. You're welcome to join us. Find the many Poetry Month offerings rounded up by Jama Rattigan at Jama's Alphabet Soup.

A cold front is on its way, with snow and rain in the mix. We need the moisture, but what a change, after seventies for a while. Back to cleaning off the car!

  1. Yes, spring does send us back and forth. I've reached that point, though, where I hate to wear the sweater even if I freeze!

    1. Thanks, Irene. The amazing part is that it's so, so true. Perhaps that is the secret of writing haiku, truth!

  3. Not more snow! I always think of Spring as the season that can't make up its mind. Resilience is definitely called for.

  4. Looks more like you'll be needing a coat. Woah! We have had incessant rain for the last week. I wore my rain boots to school today.

    1. Weather coming in! It's still snowing, coming down hard. I just came home from dinner out, glad to be in, & yes, I needed a coat! We do get these in April, but it's been a few years! Hope you get some relief too, Margaret.

  6. I wish I had had this yesterday! I really needed that resilience as I did yet another day of inside recess duty with the sixth graders!
