.
I am at the end, nearly, just a few more evaluations to write, and then the ordering and copying, ready to mail. I am happy to take a break once in a while, walking around the block if no further. Yesterday I walked onto my porch, and looked to the side at the late lilacs blooming (a different species I think). And look what I found having a bit of a nectar nosh. It stayed for a picture, and I wrote.

Linda, the photos are wonderful. That butterfly is stunning and I love that he got chauffeured in to your garden. He must have been smelling the lilacs. Did I miss receiving your Spring's Symphony poem? I am trying to collect and organize them but I did not see one from you. Is the one in your post the offering?

A nectar nosh! I love the picture that formed in my head when I read that. But how nice of this beautiful butterfly to stay long enough for pictures. Sometimes I look out at the garden and just watch what is going on. I will think of your lovely poem every time from now one. Thanks for sharing it.

I think I may take the time to write a haiku a day. It seems to be a way to take ourselves away and really see the gifts of life.
I've been watching the Tiger Swallowtails in my backyard this spring, too. There's another now! There have been more of them than I've seen before here.
I need to return to the goal of studying more about them, reading and writing, Margaret. I am ready to do some different things! Thank you!
