Poetry Friday - Swap Goodness

Poetry Friday is hosted today by Tricia Stohr-Hunt at The Miss Rumphius Effect. Thanks, Tricia!

As I wrote last month, it's quite a wonderful thing to find poetry gifts in one's mailbox, thanks to Tabatha Yeatts, whose idea this was several years ago. Today I'm sharing my swap "wonder" from Brenda Harsham who blogs at Friendly Fairy Tales, and who seemed to know exactly what I love. Here's a picture I took just this week, then the lovely illustrated poems sent by Brenda. She also included a marvelous journal "with" sticky notes, a pen, a quote magnet, and some ladybug magnets. Wow!

          THANKS, BRENDA!

  3. Lovely! I, too, love ladybugs. We used to order them through the mail and let them loose in our garden at night with the neighborhood kids when our daughter was young.

    1. So far, my summer has been lovely, but the drought ongoing and the terrible fires here are awful for many. Thanks, JoAnn!

  15. Hi Linda, a little bird told me she had seen my ladybugs in the wild, so I thought I'd come by and look for them. This particular Poetry Friday was difficult for me. I don't think I even managed to link in, although my post was up. But it's making me smile seeing my ladybugs here. The commenters are sending you ladybug love, too, which makes me very happy. I love your bee on clover Poetry Friday badge. May I use it in my posts?
