Wednesday-Lots Happening

One of the poets doing something special this month is Laura Shovan, of AuthorAmok. She's putting on party clothes this month and inviting others to write and share poetry connected in some way to clothing, and today is my day to visit. Come on over to see what I'm writing about pockets! Thanks to Laura for inviting me!

For this wonderful month of April, Poetry month, I've made the goal to write haiku and haiku-related poems. It's been rewarding to write something new every day.
I'm also happy that some of us are sharing on twitter with the hashtag #DigiPoetry, created by Margaret Simon, of Reflections on The Teche. You're welcome to join us. Find the many Poetry Month offerings rounded up by Jama Rattigan at Jama's Alphabet Soup.

I'm Not Here, But Somewhere Terrific!

My Tagxedo Star - Blog Post Words!

Come over to Laura Shovan's blog, Author Amok.  I'm excited to be a guest there today for her Poetry Month "technoverse" theme!

Quote for today:  "You will find poetry nowhere unless you bring some of it with you. -
                                                                                                                                       Joseph Joubert
More Poetry Love:
To the right of this page lists the writers for Irene Latham's progressive poem during the month at Live Your Poem. You can read the lively and interesting poem that was created last year here.

And, if you’ve followed along with the March Madness Poetry competition, it is coming to an end.  Soon, you can vote for your favorite poem of the Finals!  Here’s a link to the site.

Finally, you’d like to see more of the spectacular happenings occurring in April, check out Jama Rattigan’s blog, Jama’s Alphabet Soup.  I think she’ll be adding to the list as she finds out more, so keep checking in.

And here are a few more wonderful poetry links at Tabatha Yeatts' blog,  The Opposite of Indifference.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!
