Everyone must know that the pleasure of my weeks includes my friends and family, most lately spending time with the grand-girls, once or more times a week with each one. But there are other things that keep my life happily traveling.
A small list of goodness:
- a poem that touches me
- smiles from others on my daily walk
- writing a poem
- one chickadee "dee-deeing" each morning
- starting a book I know is going to be a terrific story
- blooms on a houseplant
- an empty dishwasher
- clouds
- warm socks
- baking smells
- falling snow
- a letter in my mailbox
- early morning feelings that the day awaits
- the shapes of trees in winter
- Saturday celebrations
