April Poetry Month - Day Twelve - Easter

It's April. It's Poetry Month and Easter Sunday!

May you find joy in the promise of today.

Remember to check out the list of what everyone is doing at Jama Rattigan's blog: Jama's Alphabet Soup.

And check on the Water Poem Project where every day, a poet is sharing a prompt connected to water, hosted and created by Laura Shovan!

Plus! Check each day for the added line to the Progressive Poem, created by Irene Latham, now hosted by Margaret Simon! The link is above and the graphic to the right!

A leap with the theme of CIRCLES for poetry month, poems & small sketches. I am looking forward to reading everyone's posts. I'm sure I will love each one, knowing they're done during a time we've not lived before. I am worried about so many, those close and those far, my community, too.

  1. Beautiful--I love that last line--time lost to a mystery we hadn't met before.

    1. Thanks, Kay. Wishing you a very Happy Easter!

  2. "Time lost to a mystery...." I am feeling such a sense of lost time with my students and my baby boys. FaceTime helps but doesn't replace real hugs and kisses.

    1. I can't imagine what it must be like as a teacher. that springtime fun that I remember as a class grows even closer. And missing seeing your grandboys growing. Yes, the time is lost, but I think we are fortunate to have the internet & few other problems except being out. Thanks for coming by, Margaret.

Thanks for visiting!
